Why Ameerpet for bank coaching, and how to choose among many options
Ameerpet has been Hyderabad's coaching address for decades. Students from across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh come here because the area packs training institutes, hostels, paying-guest rooms, food and transport into a few lanes, and because Ameerpet metro station connects two metro lines. That convenience also creates a problem: there is a lot of choice. One directory alone lists 143 online and offline bank exam coaching centres across Hyderabad, and plenty of them are in or around Ameerpet.
Many of those institutes are good. Some are strong on quantitative aptitude, some on English, some on interview guidance, and some on price. A fair way to decide is to treat it like any large purchase. Visit more than one centre, sit through a demo class, ask for fees and refund terms in writing, and compare what you actually get for the money. We would rather you choose with full information than join because of a hoarding.
If you do add our Ameerpet branch to your shortlist, here is what we think sets it apart.
- A long, published record. Sreedhar's CCE started in Vijayawada in 1995 and has trained aspirants for over 30 years. Our results page lists selections organisation by organisation, year by year, with photo lists you can open and check.
- A computer lab built for the real exam. Bank prelims and mains are computer-based tests. Every branch has a computer lab designed to give a real-time online exam experience, so the interface, the timer and the sectional pressure feel familiar by exam day.
- Bilingual teaching. Concepts in Quant and Reasoning are explained in both Telugu and English, which helps students who studied in a regional medium or who are shifting from a Telugu-medium degree.
- One system across branches and online. The study material, test pattern and teaching approach follow the same structure at Ameerpet, our other Hyderabad branches and the online LMS. If you move cities or need to switch to online midway, you do not start from zero.
- Daily tests. Practice is built into the routine rather than left for the last month.
- Local leadership. The Hyderabad branch is led by Director Sudheer Chakravarthy, and you can walk in and speak to the team rather than a call centre.
The sections below give you the details: batch timings, fees, results, faculty, and a checklist you can use at any institute.

Bank PO and Clerk (offline)
Our classroom bank course is planned for 4 months, or 100 working days, with more than 450 teaching hours across Prelims and Mains preparation. It covers IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk, SBI PO, SBI Clerk and the IBPS RRB exams in one structured plan, because the core skills overlap heavily. A typical day has three parts: a concept class in the morning or afternoon, a timed practice test, and an explanation session where the faculty walks through every question, including the ones most students got wrong.
For reference, at our Vijayawada head office the morning bank batches run from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM and from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Ameerpet timings are set by the branch based on demand, so please confirm the slot that suits you before you pay.
A few practical points about the offline batch:
- Batch size. Our Hyderabad branches keep batches to roughly 30 students, so faculty can see who is struggling.
- Phases. The first phase builds fundamentals in Quant, Reasoning and English. The second phase moves to Prelims-level speed and accuracy. The third phase covers Mains-level data interpretation, banking and financial awareness, computer aptitude and descriptive writing.
- Language. Teaching is bilingual, so you can ask a doubt in Telugu or English.
- Facilities. Classes are held in explanation halls with large LED screens and good audio, with a computer lab for tests and a library for reference books and previous papers.
If you are targeting a specific exam this season, such as the upcoming IBPS or SBI cycles, tell the counsellor at the time of enquiry so you can be placed in the batch whose syllabus phase fits your exam date.
Weekend / working-professional batch
Many bank aspirants are already working, either in private jobs or in lower-grade government posts, and cannot attend weekday classes. For them a weekend batch is often the deciding factor.
Our weekend batch at Ameerpet runs, and compresses the weekday syllabus into longer sessions with a graded test at the end of each weekend. Because there are fewer contact days, students are expected to complete the assigned practice sets during the week. Recorded classes and test access on the LMS are meant to fill that gap. More detail is in the weekend and evening batches section below.
Online or hybrid option
Not everyone can travel to Ameerpet every day, and some students prefer to study from home. Our online courses run on a dedicated LMS at lms.sreedharscce.com, accessible on a laptop, tablet or phone. They include live classes, recorded video lectures, digital study material and a full mock test series. Our English medium bank live batch currently runs from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and every live session is recorded so you can replay it for revision within the validity period, which is typically 6 to 12 months depending on the package.
A hybrid approach works well for some students: attend the classroom batch at Ameerpet and use the online recordings and tests for revision.
Weekend and evening batches
Timing is one of the most common reasons aspirants rule out an institute, so it deserves its own section. If a weekday morning batch does not fit your life, here are the options to ask about.
Who these batches are for. Working professionals, final-year degree students whose college runs in the morning, and anyone preparing for a bank exam alongside another commitment. If you are in your final semester, check the eligibility rules for the exam you are targeting, since most bank recruitments need a completed graduation by a specified date.
Eligibility and joining. Any graduate, or final-year student, can join. There is no entrance test. Bring a passport-size photograph, a government ID, and proof of your qualification at the time of admission. Fees follow the same structure as the classroom course, with the details in the next section.
How to make a part-time schedule work. From our experience with working aspirants, three habits matter more than anything else:
- Protect a fixed daily study block, even if it is only 90 minutes on weekdays, and use it only for practice rather than reading.
- Take every scheduled test, because tests are where you find the gaps your schedule cannot afford.
- Review mistakes within 24 hours, while you still remember why you chose the wrong option.
If you are unsure which format will work, ask for a demo class in each and decide after you have seen both.
Fees and payment options
Fees are the second question every aspirant asks, so here are the numbers, with a date on them. The ranges below come from our 2026 course fees guide, published on 24 June 2026. They are approximate, they exclude GST, and the exact fee depends on the batch, the medium and the branch. Please confirm the current figure for Ameerpet before paying: [CONFIRM: Ameerpet fee for each course].

Our guide notes that offline courses at Hyderabad centres typically cost ₹15,200 to ₹22,400 for banking. For a combined view of banking, SSC and railway fees, read the full Sreedhar's CCE course fees guide, or browse the live packages on the Purchase Course page.
What else to expect on the invoice. GST is added to the course fee. A nominal one-time registration charge is collected at admission. Study material is included in the package. Computer lab and library access are included for classroom students.
Payment methods. Online payments accept UPI, debit and credit cards and net banking through the LMS gateway. At the branch you can pay in cash at the counter, and some branches also accept online transfers.
Documents for admission. A recent passport-size photograph, a valid government ID such as Aadhaar, Voter ID or passport, proof of your educational qualification, and a working mobile number and email.
Refunds. Our classroom course is planned for 100 working days. If a student discontinues, the refundable amount is worked out by apportioning the course fee portion over those days. The registration fee, GST and study material already issued are not refundable. For online courses, refunds may not apply once the course has been accessed or significant content consumed. Read the full terms on our policies page before you pay, and ask the counsellor to explain anything that is unclear.
Results and selections
Results are the only fair way to judge a coaching centre, and numbers beat adjectives. Everything below is taken from the results page on our website, where each exam row links to a list of selected students.
One honest note first. These figures are for Sreedhar's CCE as a whole, across all branches and our online courses. They are not an Ameerpet-only count. [CONFIRM: add Ameerpet branch selections for the latest cycle if the branch can supply verified numbers, for example "Of these, X were Ameerpet students".] When you compare institutes, ask each one whether the number they quote is for one branch or for the whole organisation, and whether it counts students who completed the full course or anyone who ever took a test.

Two things stand out. First, the largest numbers come from clerical and RRB exams, which is expected because those exams have the most vacancies and attract the most aspirants. Second, officer-level selections in IBPS PO, SBI PO and IBPS RRB Officer Scale-I appear every year, which tells you the preparation reaches beyond the clerical cadre. Open the full results page to see every exam, including insurance, SSC, railways and cooperative banks, along with the photo list for each.
What you get
Fees and timings matter, but the real question is what happens inside the classroom. Here is how the course is designed.
Syllabus coverage
Bank exams test four broad skills, and our course gives each a dedicated track.
- Quantitative aptitude and data interpretation. Arithmetic topics such as percentages, ratio, profit and loss, time and work, and interest, followed by number series, simplification, quadratic equations and data interpretation of increasing complexity. The Mains stage needs far more data interpretation than Prelims, so this track steps up in the second half of the course.
- Reasoning and computer aptitude. Puzzles, seating arrangements, syllogism, inequality, coding-decoding, input-output, and for the Mains stage, higher-level reasoning plus basic computer knowledge.
- English language. Reading comprehension, cloze tests, error spotting, para jumbles, sentence correction and vocabulary, with extra attention for students who are not comfortable in English. Descriptive writing (letter and essay) is covered for exams that include it.
- General awareness, banking and financial awareness. Current affairs from reliable sources, static GK, banking and insurance terms, RBI and government schemes, and economy basics. Our faculty run current affairs sessions through the course, not only at the end.
Prelims for the major bank exams is a 60-minute, 100-mark test across English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning, with sectional timing. Mains adds General or Financial Awareness, computer aptitude, and in some exams a descriptive paper, followed by an interview for officer posts. Patterns can change from one recruitment cycle to the next, so we check each notification and adapt the plan. For the current pattern of any exam, see its live notification page, linked in the exams section below.
Tests and doubt clearing
Daily tests are part of the routine at our branches. Each test is followed by an explanation session, so a wrong answer becomes a lesson the same day. Over the course the tests move from topic-wise to sectional to full-length mocks that follow the latest exam pattern, run in our computer lab so that the screen, the question palette and the timer feel like the real thing.
For doubts, the classroom has regular doubt-clarification sessions where faculty explain the concept behind the answer, not only the answer itself. Online students can post doubts during live classes or in dedicated doubt sessions on the platform.
Faculty
A coaching centre is only as good as the person standing at the board. Our Ameerpet branch is led by Director Sudheer Chakravarthy, and each subject is taught by a specialist. The faculty table below should be filled with the current team. You can meet the faculty in a demo class before you decide. Judge them on how clearly they explain, how they handle questions, and whether you can follow the method yourself afterwards.
Learn more about our history and the people behind the institute on the About Us page.
How to choose a bank coaching in Ameerpet
Whether you pick us or someone else, use this six-point checklist. It works at any institute in Hyderabad.
- Attend a demo class. Sit through a real class, not a promotional talk. Check whether you understand the concept, whether the pace suits you, and whether the teacher invites questions. If an institute does not offer a demo, ask why.
- Ask about batch size. A class of 30 and a class of 120 are very different experiences. Ask how many students are in the batch you will join, and how many seats are being sold.
- Look at the test system. Find out how often tests are held, whether they are computer-based, whether sectional timing is used, and whether every test is followed by an explanation. Tests are where most of your improvement comes from.
- Check how doubts are handled. Ask when and how you can clear doubts, and whether there is a fixed time or a person responsible. A doubt that waits a week is a doubt that stays.
- Verify the results. Ask for the exam names, the years and the number of selections, and ask whether the numbers are for one branch or the whole organisation. A results page with named lists is more reliable than a banner.
- Get fee clarity in writing. Ask for the total fee including GST and registration, what the material and tests cost, what happens if you leave midway, and what the refund policy says. There should be no surprises after you pay.
At Sreedhar's CCE you can see how we answer each of these before you pay anything: the demo, the batch size, the tests, the results page and the policies page are all open to you.

You can also use our Age Calculator to check your age eligibility for any exam before you plan.
