Government Exams in November 2026: Notifications, Admit Cards, Results & Last Dates
Your November 2026 Government Exam Tracker: Notifications, Admit Cards, Results and Deadlines
About 25 government exams and recruitments have a notification, admit card, exam or result milestone in November 2026. Three applications are open right now (RRB NTPC Graduate, RRB NTPC Undergraduate and APPSC Group 2), and one big notification, NABARD Grade A, is still awaited. The biggest exam weeks are 2 to 6 November (SSC JE, RRB ALP), 20 to 23 November (SSC CPO, IBPS RRB PO, SBI Clerk Mains, IFoS Mains) and the opening of SSC CHSL on 30 November.
How to read the status labels: Confirmed means the date appears in an official notice or a report quoting it. Reported means exam portals and news sites are publishing it, but we have not seen it on the official site. Tentative means the exam body itself calls the date tentative. Expected means there is no official date yet and the month is an estimate based on past cycles.

Notifications and applications open
Three applications are open as of 26 October 2026, and two more notifications are likely to arrive in November.
Banking, SSC, RRB, UPSC and Defence
RRB NTPC Graduate (CEN 06/2026). The Railway Recruitment Boards are recruiting for 3,548 posts across four categories: Goods Train Manager, Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist and Senior Clerk cum Typist. Applications run from 8 October to 6 November 2026, and age is counted as on 1 January 2027 (18 to 33 years for general candidates). The detailed rules are in our RRB NTPC eligibility and age limit guide. Status: Confirmed.
RRB NTPC Undergraduate (CEN 07/2026). This is the Class 12 level notification for 1,688 clerk posts (Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Clerk cum Typist and Trains Clerk). The notification was released on 14 October, applications run from 15 October to 13 November 2026 and fee payment closes on 15 November. A correction window is reported for 16 to 25 November, and CBT 1 is reported for January 2027. Status: Confirmed for application dates, Reported for the exam month.
NABARD Grade A (Assistant Manager). Not released as of 24 October. Several trackers expect it by the end of October or in November, with Phase 1 tentatively around 11 December 2026 and Phase 2 around 13 January 2027. Those exam dates are unofficial. The last cycle was notified on 8 November 2025 for 91 vacancies, so a November notification fits the pattern. See our full NABARD Grade A 2026 guide for eligibility, pattern and syllabus. Status: Expected.
SSC GD Constable (2027 cycle). The SSC calendar lists the GD notification for November 2026, with the exam in January or February 2027. SSC has revised its calendar more than once this year, so treat the month as Tentative. Our SSC calendar guide tracks the changes.
UPSC NDA and NA (I) and CDS (I) 2027. The UPSC 2027 calendar lists notifications in early December, with the last date to apply reported as 22 December 2026. Nothing opens in November, but start preparing now if you are targeting these. Status: Expected for early December.
IBPS, SBI and RBI. There is no new bank recruitment notification due in November on the current calendars. The IBPS RRB applications closed in September, and the RBI Grade B 2026 cycle has finished with the final result released on 15 October.
AP, Telangana, Karnataka, Odisha
Andhra Pradesh: APPSC Group 2. Reports say APPSC has issued Notification No. 37/2026 for 686 vacancies, with online applications from 10 to 30 November 2026. Exam dates are not announced. Because this came from news reports and we have not seen the notification PDF, confirm the vacancy count and dates on psc.ap.gov.in before you apply. Status: Reported.
Andhra Pradesh: APPSC Departmental Tests, November 2026 session. Notification 06/2026 closed for applications on 21 October. This is for serving government employees and is not a recruitment. Exam dates will be announced separately.
Telangana: TGPSC. Recruitment exams have been scheduled and the application windows for the listed posts have already closed. The departmental tests notification (No. 04/2026) closed on 17 October. No new TGPSC recruitment notification for November was found as of 26 October. Check tgpsc.gov.in regularly, because the commission publishes notifications without much notice.
Karnataka: KPSC and KEA. The KAS notification for 319 Group A and B posts closed for applications in September. KEA has published exam dates for the posts listed above. No fresh recruitment notification with a November deadline was confirmed at the time of writing.
Odisha: OPSC. The next Odisha Civil Services notification is not out. The previous one came on 31 December 2025 for 465 posts, so the next is likely around December 2026 or January 2027. Status: Expected, and not in November.

Two practical tips. First, RRB applications allow only one RRB and one CEN at a time, so decide your RRB before you register. Second, portals slow down in the last two days. Apply at least three days before the deadline. If you are unsure about your age, use our free Age Calculator before you apply.
Admit cards and city slips
Admit cards and city slips are released in stages. The city slip tells you where your exam is, and the admit card carries your shift, reporting time and the instructions you must follow.
Already released
- SSC JE Paper-I: City slips came out on 23 October, according to reports of the SSC notice. Admit cards are expected from about 30 October for the 2 to 6 November exam. Download them from the SSC region site named in your slip.
- RRB ALP CBT 1: City intimation slips were released from 24 to 26 October for the 3 to 5 November exam. Admit cards are released about four days before each exam date, so check the regional RRB site from about 30 October.
- OPSC OCS Mains: Admit cards were released on 22 to 23 October for the 29 October to 7 November exam.
- TGPSC: Hall tickets for departmental tests are hosted on tgpsc.gov.in seven days before the exam starts, which means from about 7 November.
Expected in November
- IBPS SO Mains (1 November): Call letters are posted on ibps.in a few days to a week before the exam.
- IBPS RRB Officer Scale I Prelims (21 and 22 November): Call letters are generally released 7 to 10 days before the exam, so expect them from about 11 to 14 November.
- SBI Clerk Mains (23 November): The Mains call letter is expected after the Prelims result in the first half of November.
- SSC CPO Paper-I (20 to 28 November): SSC normally publishes city slips about ten days before and admit cards about three or four days before each shift. Watch ssc.gov.in from 10 November.
- UPSC IFoS Mains (22 November): E-admit cards appear on upsc.gov.in ahead of the exam.
- TGPSC AEE Civil (6 and 7 November) and DEO/HM (12 and 13 November): Hall tickets will be hosted about seven days before each exam.
Before exam day: Carry a printed admit card, an original photo ID and the document named in the instructions. RRB centres use Aadhaar based biometric verification, so carry your original Aadhaar or e-Aadhaar for the ALP and NTPC exams.

Clashes to watch. SSC CPO Paper-I (20 to 28 November) overlaps with IBPS RRB PO Prelims (21 and 22 November), and 22 November is crowded with UPSC IFoS Mains, OPSC APP and KEA exams. What to do this month
The next 60 days contain a dense run of exams. Use your month based on which exams you are targeting.
If you are targeting bank exams
- IBPS Clerk Mains (27 December): Start Mains level practice now. Focus on data interpretation, puzzles, banking and financial awareness, and full length Mains mocks with 190 questions in 160 minutes. Do not wait for the Prelims result.
- SBI Clerk Mains (reported 23 November): If you cleared Prelims, spend the first two weeks on sectional tests and the last week on revision. Practise the 2 hour 40 minute paper in a single sitting.
- IBPS RRB PO Prelims (21 and 22 November): You have about three weeks. Take one full length mock every two days, analyse each one, and keep one hour a day for current affairs.
- IBPS PO interview: If you cleared Mains, begin interview preparation as soon as the result arrives. Our SBI PO interview guide is useful here too.
- NABARD Grade A: If you are aiming for it, start Economic and Social Issues and Agriculture and Rural Development reading now. The notification, when it arrives, may leave only five to six weeks.
If you are targeting SSC
- SSC CGL Tier-II: If you appeared for Tier-I, begin Tier-II level Mathematics, English and Statistics preparation while you wait for the result.
- SSC CHSL Tier-I (from 30 November): Take a mock every day for the last two weeks, and practise section order and time splits.
- SSC CPO Paper-I (20 to 28 November): Balance Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude revision with General Awareness and English, and keep one full mock a day in the final week.
- SSC JE (2 to 6 November): Revise your core engineering subject and finish with timed Paper-I mocks. Our SSC calendar guide lists the next SSC dates.
If you are targeting railway exams
- RRB ALP CBT 1 (3 to 5 November): In the last week, revise Mathematics, Reasoning, Basic Science and General Awareness, and take two full mocks. Make sure you have your Aadhaar for biometric verification.
- RRB NTPC Graduate and Undergraduate: Apply before the deadlines, then use the weeks before CBT 1 to build speed. Our RRB NTPC syllabus guide lists topics and weightage, and our first attempt strategy covers a study plan.
If you are targeting AP, Telangana, Karnataka or Odisha exams
- APPSC Group 2: Applications are reported to open on 10 November. Use the next two weeks to complete your documents and revise the syllabus.
- Karnataka and Odisha state exams: Use the exact dates in the table above and confirm each on the official site, since Odisha dates have moved once already.
- Telangana: Keep checking tgpsc.gov.in, since new notifications are published without much warning.
A simple weekly routine for the next 60 days
|
Day |
Focus |
|
Monday to Friday |
Two study blocks of two hours each on your weakest subjects, plus one hour of practice |
|

|
Sunday |
Analyse the mock, redo wrong questions and plan the week |
If you would like structured support, see our courses for Bank, SSC and Railway exams, or check our Results page for how past students performed.
Exam pattern quick guide for November exams
Knowing the pattern helps you plan the final days before each exam. These details come from the notifications we have covered in full.
|
Exam |
Pattern in brief |
|
SSC JE Paper-I |
200 questions for 200 marks in 2 hours across General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness and General Engineering. Negative marking of 0.25 per wrong answer |
|
SBI Clerk Mains |
Online and objective, 190 questions for 200 marks in 2 hours 40 minutes. The Prelims is 100 questions for 100 marks in 60 minutes |
|
RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 1 (December) |
100 questions for 100 marks in 90 minutes across General Awareness, Mathematics and Reasoning, with one third negative marking |
|
UPSC IFoS Mains |
Six descriptive papers, 1,400 marks in total, each paper three hours long |
Two lessons apply to almost every exam on this list. First, accuracy beats volume in exams with negative marking, so skip questions you cannot narrow down. Second, a mock test taken at the same time of day as your exam shift trains your body clock as well as your knowledge.
Common mistakes during exam season
Exam season is when small errors cost the most. These are the mistakes we see most often.
Trusting a date from a forwarded message. A WhatsApp forward or a social media post is not a notice. Always trace the date to the official site, and look at the notice date.
Waiting for the last day to apply. Heavy traffic on the final day can cause payment failures. Apply early, keep the confirmation and save a copy of the submitted form.
Ignoring the city slip. The city slip appears days before the admit card and tells you where to travel. Book tickets and accommodation as soon as you see it, because trains and hotels fill quickly in exam week.
Forgetting ID and biometric rules. Railway exams use Aadhaar based biometric verification, and other boards have strict ID rules. Check the instructions on your admit card the night before.
Dropping revision for new topics. In the last two weeks before an exam, new topics rarely stick. Revise your error notebook, formulas and current affairs notes instead.
Not planning for clashes. If two exams fall on the same day, decide early which one to attend, and do not leave it to the last evening.
Skipping rest. A fresh mind in the exam hall is worth more than an extra late night. Plan sleep before the exam as carefully as you plan study.
Notes for candidates from Hyderabad and the Telugu states
If you are preparing in Hyderabad, Vijayawada or elsewhere in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, three practical points apply this month.
- Many exams, many cities. SSC, RRB and IBPS exams allot centres through a city slip, and the city is not always the one you chose first. Check the slip as soon as it appears and plan travel early.
- Telangana exams are CBT based. The TGPSC exams in this list are computer based tests held in Hyderabad and nearby districts, so practise on a computer rather than only on paper.
- Coaching support is local. Our Hyderabad centres at Ameerpet, Dilsukhnagar and KPHB run Bank, SSC and Railway batches, and our Andhra Pradesh and Telangana branch pages list the nearest centre for you.
How to verify any date
Dates in news articles and on coaching websites, including this one, are summaries. The only legally binding source is the official notice. Use these sites, and trust a date only when it appears on the notice or on your admit card.

Three checks before you act on any date: First, confirm it appears on the exam body's own website. Second, check the notice date, because an older notice may have been replaced. Third, look for a corrigendum or revised schedule, which is how most date changes are announced.
Common Questions Students Ask
Is the date for each exam in this list confirmed? No, not all of them. We mark each row as Confirmed, Reported, Tentative or Expected. Confirmed means the date appears in an official notice or a report quoting it, while Tentative and Expected dates can change. Check the official site and your admit card before you plan travel.
Where can I download my admit card for a November 2026 exam? Download it from the website of the conducting body. SSC admit cards are on your region's SSC site, IBPS call letters are on ibps.in, RRB e-call letters are on your regional RRB site, UPSC e-admit cards are on upsc.gov.in, and state PSC hall tickets are on the commission's site. Do not use third party links, and never share your login with anyone.
Is the NABARD Grade A 2026 notification out? No. As of 24 October 2026 it had not been released. Trackers expect it by the end of October or in November, with Phase 1 tentatively in December, but those exam dates are unofficial until NABARD publishes the notification.
What is the last date for RRB NTPC 2026? For the Graduate level (CEN 06/2026), the last date to apply is 6 November 2026 at 11:59 PM and fee payment closes on 8 November. For the Undergraduate level (CEN 07/2026), the last date to apply is 13 November 2026 and fee payment closes on 15 November.
Which exams clash in November 2026? SSC CPO Paper-I (20 to 28 November) overlaps with IBPS RRB PO Prelims (21 and 22 November). The 22 November date also carries UPSC IFoS Mains, OPSC Assistant Public Prosecutor prelims and KEA exams, which matters if you applied for exams in more than one state. Check your admit cards for exact dates and shifts.
When will the IBPS Clerk and SBI Clerk Prelims results be released? Neither date is official yet. The SBI Clerk Prelims result for regular vacancies is expected in the first week of November, and the IBPS Clerk Prelims result is expected in November. IBPS Clerk Mains is on 27 December, and SBI Clerk Mains is reported for 23 November.
